Personal Support Worker's with Vehicle and Valid Drivers License

First Class community Home Care is a private senior home care agency that is looking for high functioning, professional, Certified Personal Support Workers who are available to work in the Halifax/cape Breton/new Glasgow/Annapolis/Truro and Yarmouth areas . We have several pending cases in these areas that we require support with.

To qualify you must be able to demonstrate the following:
Flexible to work all shifts and alternate weekends
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Caring and compassionate
Capability to exercise independent judgement or initiative
Ability to act quickly and respond appropriately to medical emergencies
Possess the ability to maintain a professional manner at all times
Willingness to travel to different locations to visit clients in their homes
Training in Halifax or other Dementia related education and experience is an asset
Experience working with Parkinson's, rehabilitative and palliative cases is an asset

You will be required to provide the following services to your clients:

Personal Care

Home Support

Companionship

Housekeeping

Social Transportation

Having a valid drivers' license and vehicle is required (please note in your reply) Must be cleared for a Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check, and be certified in First Aid/CPR.
